Battery performance, hinges issues

I purchase laptop in 2022 jan, as I am software engineer so I did not get a chance to use my own laptop as I have to work from companies provided laptop. I am feeling that I got confuseded by online Dell store. Why I am saying this because first thing the warranty was only 7 months left since I purchased. Second things hinges were broken within 4 months. Even though I hardly use my own laptop. Battery performance was very poor since starting. Now it is only 1 hour. Why I am writing this today because I was lazy and I did not though about battery that time because I hardly used it.
