Backlit keyboard

Is it possible that you accidentally turned off the backlight? There will be a secondary function on a function key that toggles it on and off. Look for the backlight symbol on your function keys. It looks as though it may be on the F5 key, so try pressing F5 or Fn F5.

Since the backlit keyboard was working for 2 days and then stopped, it is likely that there is a hardware issue with the keyboard. Here are some things you can try to fix the issue:

fn - F5 does nothing. Should turn on/off backlit keyboard. F5 just refreshes the page. I will try a BIOS reset and look for drivers before contacting Dell. As suggested below. Thanks so much to all for the timely replies.
