Are my files backed up?

Hello!

I have Inspiron 15 3511 laptop,

So I was resetting and updating and I backed my user up (it is about 6.9 GB big but I don't remember which option I chose to back up my files), but later on the road I had to interrupt reset and update my Windows the progress is only at finishing installing Windows, I cancelled it and moved back to the menu then I had to force restart my laptop, my option for Support Assistant Recovery is gone, the blue screen showed me Error code: 0xc000000e and had to install through USB, but right now I haven't installed Windows 11 yet, so my question is are my files backed up or was deleted/ corrupted when I have to force restart my laptop? Because I don't see the files when I setting up Windows, I saw like my OS drive is still there but the other 2s are not it said that it's 300GB of unallocated spaces and all the drives are on the same SSD.

Many thanks.

Hi

Dunno.

Perhaps try paragraphs?

I suggest you consider having your BitLocker Key to hand and consider an "In Place" / "Over the Top"

temporary install (https://www.elevenforum.com/tutorials/?prefix_id=7) and ensure you have a backup, preferably onto a large USB.

NB: It is only a suggestion.

If in doubt please ask.

You did back up your files to an external drive, right?

How did you back up your files? Was it with a built in Windows tool like Backup & Restore, or was it through the Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery environment?
