5530 USB C Issue

I have one of my 5530s plugging into a WD19 dock. When I plug it in it bricks the entire laptop. I've tried updates and drivers for the laptop and the dock nothing worked. I even tried a different dock same issue. Now when I take the laptop out of that room it works perfectly fine without any additional troubleshooting. It also works on other docks outside of that room.  I have also tried a 5540 it had some issues not as many and a 5550 which worked completely fine. The 5530 also had an incident where I plugged it into its USB-C power cable and it started flashing and making the connection sound over and over again for 5-10minutes.
