You'll have to ask your memory vendor about compatibility - most times, faster RAM runs fine.  That said, the CPU controls the memory speed, so if you're expecting better performance, you won't see that.  That would require a CPU with a faster memory bus - and since your system has a soldered-in CPU, upgrading that is not possible.
