Windows 11 Blue Screen of Death
Inspiron 7790 AIO
Since upgrading to Windows 11 in January 25 I've been troubled with periodic crashes and reboots. Probably happened a dozen times now. It happened twice this morning after a period of a few days with no issues.
Critical event log for the latest crash reads:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000c2 (0x0000000000000099, 0xffffad81e2553178, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000).
Anyone else out there experienced problems with recent Windows 11 upgrade?

Win 11 24H2 is still buggy...
Do you have onboard Intel Graphics or does your AIO have NVIDIA MX110 video?
Are BIOS and drivers up-to-date? Enter your Service Tag on that screen (don't post it here). When your PC is recognized, be sure to select Win 11 before downloading/installing any drivers.
You can also install WhoCrashed (free) and it may be able to tell you what app or driver caused the crash.

@RoHe Thanks for getting in touch. Interesting it's still buggy. I delayed installing Windows 11 for ages then I accidently accepted one of the Windows update prompts and couldn't back out.
I have the NVIDIA MX110 video. I reran the driver check per your link and it says I'm up to date. I analysed the minidump files with WinDbg and it comes up with BAD_POOL_CALLER (c2).
Out of interest I looked in Device manager and it has 2 issues in Other devices. A question mark against Bluetooth Peripheral Device and the exclamation mark against Intel High Definition Audio. I'll try "whocrashed" later. Thanks again. Dave

You probably need to deal with those Device Manager issues before the Snap issue.
Open Device Manager and click View>Show hidden. Then search everywhere for any "Unknown", right-click and Uninstall.
Does that Bluetooth Peripheral Device error mean you've used some BT device (speaker, earphones, etc) with this PC but it's not currently paired? Try pairing that device and see if the BT Peripheral error goes away. If that happens, you can ignore this error.
I don't see an intel audio driver for this PC on Dell's support site. I only see a Realtek audio driver. So make sure this driver is installed, and then open the Windows Sound screen and make sure Output source is set to Speakers/Headphones (Realtek).
This PC uses Waves MaxxAudio Pro as sound controller, so make sure that's installed too and configured correctly for you setup.
Run WhoCrashed and see what it says. Then try this:

@RoHe Thanks again for taking time to help me with this.
The system is using realtek drivers and MaxxAudio Pro is set up and running properly.
I cleared all the listed BT devices previously paired. There were a couple of hidden BT devices in Device Manager that disappeared as a result.
The 2 mentioned flags in device manager remain.
Intel High Definition Audio stating that drivers are not installed and BT Peripheral Device stating no drivers required or loaded.
WhoCrashed (what an amazing bit of software!) states the most recent crashes are all BAD POOL CALLER most likely by a bug in a driver.
I ran the CMD commands.
All good with DISM but SFC found the following: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. C:\windows\logs\CBS\CBS.log
Fingers crossed I'll see what happens and let you know.

What driver did WhoCrashed report?
You can go to the Intel Download Center and install their Support Assistant. It can scan you hardware and offer missing and/or newer drivers for Intel hardware in your PC.

@RoHe Hi,
The PC crashed again with the same BAD_POOL_CALLER error. Whocrashed suggests it's driver related but can't identify the culprit. I've updated settings to get a fullcrashdump next time.
In the interim I noted in a google search that Avira security software had caused the same problem for someone. I had this installed so removed it just in case.
I ran the intel support assist and it offered updates for Intel Wireless AC 9462 and Intel Wireless Bluetooth hardware. Nothing Audio related. I'll wait and see if it crashes again and see if whocrashed can gain more insight from a full dump. Thanks again for your much welcome and well informed advice.

Did you make sure Windows Defender is running now that you uninstalled Avira?
Have you gotten the BSOD again since uninstalling Avira?
If you uninstalled Avira after having run DISM and sfc, I'd run them both again.
Exactly what error message do you see for Intel HD Audio in Device Manager? You could right-click and uninstall it. Be sure to accept the offer to remove its software. Then click Action>Scan for updates and see if Intel Audio reappears in DM without the error indicator.

Yes, Windows Defender is running,
No BSOD since uninstallling Avira. Fingers crossed. I'll leave PC on overnight for a few days.
The Intel HD Audio has the yellow exclamation mark and reappears again after uninstalling it. Device Manager states
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device.
Device INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_280B&SUBSYS_80860101\5&82c8891&0&0201 requires further installation.
Will run DISM and sfc again as suggested.

That's certainly a good sign after removing Avira. Hope that's the easy fix...
BTW: The Intel Audio driver might be included in either the Intel Chipset driver and/or in the Intel Management Engine. So you may want to try installing them again.

NOTES:
And if all else fails, you may just want to ignore the Intel Audio error messages since you're using RealTek audio, and PC seems to be working OK, otherwise. It might still come done to yet another bug in Win 11 that only Microsoft/Intel can fix...

Just a quick update to say that over a month with no BSOD since removing the Avira Security Software.
PC been left running overnight many times. Hope I haven't jinxed it by suggesting that must have been the cause.
