Which port to use for the monitor?

I would be very grateful for any help/advice!

I have today taken delivery of an Inspiron 3020 Desktop with a NVIDIA GeForce 3050 graphics card (so that my grandchildren can play games when they visit).

.The instructions  state that I need to ensure that the monitor is ‘plugged into’ the graphics card, but do not specify where that is! One of the expansion card slots has been ‘opened’ and four ports are visible, and I assume that one of these ports would be the appropriate one, but I do not know which one, nor what cable would be suitable.

I feel out of my depth! Any advice would be very much appreciated!

You have assumed correctly.  You can use any of the port from that graphics card.  The first one on the left is HDMI, and the rest are three displayports.

Check your monitor and connecting whichever cable available, HDMI to HDMI, or DisplayPort to DisplayPort.

Glad to help out.  Enjoy your new computer and if running into any question, just ask.

Also, testing the DW316 to see if it's working out for you.
