What does this string on a power supply fan mean?...

Inspiron 3847

Inspiron 3847

I am shopping for a new fan for my power supply & am wondering what the "M-GPx" value indicates (x=1 / 2 / 3, etc). I thought google knew everything, maybe it's part of the part#?
My fan has these values:
D80SH-12 (HH-07)
M-GP5 (i can't read my own writing, not sure on that)
DC-12v .30 amp

Thanks
John

to try to answer your question, for the same size 12V fan such as 80x80x25 mm as in D80SH-12, DC12V, GP suffix has to do w power rating.

M-GP1: 0.18 A or 0.21 A

M-GP2: 0.30 A

M-GP3: 0.30 A or 0.70 A (if D80-SH12C)

PS If you are experienced with psu electrical safety then understand you want to replace fan inside psu. if not it may be wise not to open up and service a psu inside because there can be dangerous or lethal current/voltage discharge even when unplugged from power.

Disclaimer: I am not expert on Yate Loon fan spec.
I found:

D80SH-12 (HH-07) 0.3 A, 80x80x25 mm

2000 rpm, 26 db

D80SH-12c (HH-02) 0.21A, 80x80x20 mm

2500 rpm, 29 db

Then why am I finding D80SH-12 fans, all DC 12V 0.30A (so same power), with different M-GPx numbers? I am specifically looking for M-GP9 but cannot find one. I see several M-GP2’s with all other specs seemingly the same but haven’t dared to order it because of the different M-GP number. I was trying to find the meaning of the M-GP number and only found your answer which seems incorrect.

Would it be easier to replace entire PSU, not just the fan..?

Why would you find it necessary to respond with absolutely nothing of value to say? I want an answer, not foolishness.

@redxps630  What does the HH-07 stand for  and what is the difference between an HH-07 and a HH-02?  Can an HH-02 Fan   I am trying to replace the fan on PSU of an Inspiron 3847

Can I replace the D80SH-12 (HH-07) 30A (GP) with a D80SH-12 (HH-02) 30A(GP) ?
