Video card not working with Inpsiron 3847 after bios update to A11.

Inspiron 3847
Dell Support Assistant installed the A11 BIOS on my Inspiron 3847.
Now I can't get into the BIOS. I get no video signal until Windows 10 installs the driver and then boots to the Win 10 Desktop. My have used 4 or 5 different video cards and NONE work so that I can enter the BIOS.
The video card I have installed now is a GeForce GT 760.
Anyone have any ideas??

The latest BIOS firmware for your system is A11 and it was released in 2019. Users must decide between the benefits and the risks prior to updating BIOS firmware.
To prepare for troubleshooting, first, replacing the coin cell battery with a fresh new CR2032. Then locate a jumper CMCLR1 and reset CMOS. Simplify the system connection by removing all USB external devices. Use wired mouse/keyboard and connecting monitor to an integrated video port. Testing with known good cable and monitor. When power on, system may restart a few times before Dell logo appears, that is normal due to CMOS reset.

@slodon - Is the GeForce GT 760, or any of the other cards you tried, a Dell OEM video card?
What type video port are you using on PC and on monitor?
Have you tried using either the onboard Intel Graphics HDMI or VGA ports without an add-in video card installed? (Onboard video ports are likely disabled when an add-in video card is installed.)

No, they are not Dell OEM cards.
I don't know what happened but my ssd wasn't recognized so the machine wouldn't boot. I took it out and deleted the partition then reinstalled it and put a fresh copy of Win 10 Pro on it and now I get the Dell logo at start up and can enter the BIOS
All is good for now any way.

When you updated BIOS, Secure Boot was probably (re-)enabled.
With some exceptions, a PC won't boot when a "retail" video card is installed if Secure Boot is enabled. Dell OEM cards will work when Secure Boot is (or isn't) enabled.
