Upgrading NVME SSD
Inspiron 3910
Looking to upgrade from the rinky-dinky .5TB SSD to a 2TB SSD. Is that doable for the 3190 Inspiron?
The documentation shows support only up to 1TB, however, I am skeptical.

Are you sure about that model number? Could it possibly be the 3910? If so then you can upgrade up to and including a 4TB SSD. This page at Crucial has further information.

You may need something to hold the NVME drive in place. Some Dell systems don't ship with the proper sized 2280 (the length of the NVME) hold down and screw. Some Dell's use a plastic retainer system to hold the NVME drive in place. If on your motherboard, you don't see something to hold the NVME, you may want to go on Amazon and order a cheap kit that includes a bunch of M.2 screws. They sell a variety of sizes for some reason, so best to have all the options available.

Also, the reason I say this is that Dell's own site for your model only shows the smaller sized NVME drives (2230)
