transfer programs and data files to new PC
I have an older Inspiron desktop running Windows 10 Home and wondered if there's a program to transfer the programs from my old PC to a new Dell Slim Desktop running Windows 11 Home. If there's no program or utility to do this, what's the easiest way to make the transition to the new Dell PC? Thanks very much in advance!

use the new pc literally as a new pc, meaning install programs from scratch.
old programs from 10 cannot be moved to 11 in an elegant clean manner.
you pretty much need to reinstall everything.
most application programs that were compatible with 10 would be c/w 11 too.
you could also move the hdd/ssd from old pc to new one and set it up as a dual boot pc which can boot either from new 11 or old 10 home, but it is for advanced user.

@redxps630 May need to find out what new PC is before suggesting it can run Win10?

Important files/data should be backed up outside of PC.
