system ignores my request to shut down after system updates, it restarts every time instead
When notified of an available update, the desktop (Inspiron 27 7720 All-in-One, Windows 11 Home) offers two choices - update and restart OR update and shut down. I always choose update and shut down, which always worked well for the first 6 months but for the past 6 months, even though I choose update and shut down, it instead updates and restarts every single time so I must manually wait until it's done, restarted, and then shut it down. How can I fix that? Thank you

@DELL-Jesse L I realize there are two choices but it restarts for BOTH choices now! I always choose to update and shut down every time - but it always restarts after the update instead of shutting down. It's VERY annoying and unnecessary.
