Replacing an Inspiron 2330 AIO Display Panel...

Trying to replace the display panel in a 2330 AIO & am curious about the differences between the original & one I purchased on eBay.

While the part number (LTM230HT10) is the same on both, there is a cable & connector on one that isn't on the other.

Do the numbers 1133 vs 1135 tell anything about them?

I've tried to upload images (426KB & 312 KB, but they won't upload!)

Open the images in Paint then save as a different file name.jpeg. Upload those may work then

They are jpegs, I even opened them,. used the snipping tool to take a pic of that & still getting the same error message!

Should this work with my current computer, just leaving that cable disconnected?

Thsat was a helluva a teardown to get to that display panel!

Snip tool JPEG is proved not to work in forum. It is not just the file extension. It is something else. Use paint to save file as a new pic.jpeg has worked each single time

It is Intel 3rd gen cpu so repair it may not be worth it.

It's for an older person on fixed income, trying to do her a favor, as I've always had a soft spot for older people!

Should this display work in this computer, though?

Person I bought it from failed to mention it easd from a touch screen...

Use the service tag of pc to look up Dell product support “view product spec” which would let you know the factory shipped lcd screen DP/N.

two cons of replacing lcd screen

(1) depends on exactly what the issue was that prompted screen repair, new screen may or may not solve problem.  Is it merely a busted screen or is there video display issue from mobo?

(2) buy a used working Dell 23” AIO same or newer model may be comparable to cost of new screen itself plus labor.

If despite the risk or cost still want to embark on this service project,

I find these from 2330 part list

LCD screen LCD, SMG, with CONV, touch-enabled

23"" Full High Definition (1080 p) LED Displaywith Touch
9V7V6
LCD screen Liquid Crystal Display, 23, NO-TCH, FIX, SMG

23"" FH1920 x 1080 (Full HD) 非触控式

@mikey59 - Images have to be reviewed/approved before they can appear in a post.

So if you've already uploaded them, they should eventually appear in this thread, assuming they're acceptable.

parts people website says

- Inspiron One 2330 All-In-One

DP/N: 9V7V6, 09V7V6

Alternate Part Numbers Found:
LTM230HT10-M01

you can compare your original screen back sticker with this one to see if they match

@RoHe

I think the images truly didn't upload.  Otherwise, we'd either be seeing a photo icon or as Rockstars, see the image right away.

Don't think we'd see an image icon before the images get approved...

I used to have access to the image console.  That's how I know.  I think they decided to leave the image console to moderation only.

If they have gotten more restrictive with new account images, it's not really helping anybody any.

Edit:  I tried uploading a couple of screengrabs in another thread and it didn't work.  Just kept getting an error msg.

Ok, I'm down to putting my last few pieces together & cannot remember where the power for the power supply fan plugged into the mobo!
