Qualcomm QCA9565 WiFi Adapter Issues after Win 11 KB5083769 April 2026 Update
Has anyone noticed much slower download speeds after this past weeks Window 11 updates? My internet speeds have gone down to almost intolerable. I temporarily ran a ethernet cable to my router and normal internet speed returned. I tried some online troubleshoot and changed the"Roaming Aggressiveness" setting from "Medium" to "Lowest" and that has helped. As I am in a new house since this computer was purchased and previously used wired internet, I think I am going to run a new ethernet connection to my computer.

Wired
Didn't uninstall Windows update as I felt the the security updates were important to have and nothing changed in my WiFi environment as all other devices performed the same as before the update. This just motivated me to run ethernet cable to the computer and I'm glad I did as I'm getting better speed now even when the WiFi was working correctly.

What model system? And have you tried removing the latest update?

I've found the ethernet wires are always better. Only thing I run on WiFi here (if they have both) are portable devices.
My guess is something changed in your WiFi Environment (which also includes neighbors) and the (Qualcomm) KB5083769 is just a coincidence.

One can always try a different WiFi adapter. There's different versions depending on strength you need depending on how close the PC is to the router.
