Putting an Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU in an Inspiron 3670, is this possible?

I have a Dell Inspiron 3670 (i5), and I want to put an Nvidia 3060 in it.  Is this even possible to do?  I understand that I'll probably need a new power supply and a pin adapter, from what I've read on this forum.  If anyone can advise me on if this can be done and how to do it, I'd really appreciate it.

Yes, many users have outfitted their Inspiron 3670 with RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti, then benchmarking their systems here  https://www.userbenchmark.com/PCBuilder?searchTerm=inspiron%203670%20rtx%203060

You can scroll down that list and select certain systems to review the system components and which variant of the RTX 3060 card being used.  Although those systems did not provide details information for the builds of PSU but upgrading a power supply of at least 450w or higher is suggested.

How do I know which power supply is one that will work with it?  And do I need that pin adapter?  Sorry, I don't really know hardware.

For power supply, select a good brand PSU with good reviews.  For example, selections for 650w here.

For 24-pin to 8-pin adapter cable, many users prefer MODDIY cable.

Take caution while working on the motherboard and take note that your attempt at your own risk.

besides chino advices, Gpu has to be relatively short.  Chassis depth is 11.57 inch deep.  Minus front bezel your max gpu length is around 10 inch.

Thank you for your help and advice. Regarding the power supply, should it be modular or semi-modular? And are they a standard size, will they all fit, or do I have to look for a specific size?

It can be either modular or non modular.

stock psu size is standard ATX psu

Dimensions 150mm x 86mm x 140mm.

new psu is also standard ATX.  Ideally same dimensions
