Problem with New Desktop

Hi, we recently purchased the desktop but the its mic is not working since the day I purchased.

Hi, we recently purchased the desktop but the its mic is not working since the day I purchased.

Always include exact PC model and version of Windows in your posts.

Have you looked on the Windows microphone privacy screen to make sure the mic is enabled and you've given your apps permission to use it?

If that doesn't work, try a different microphone.  Microphones do die on occasion.

Also, right click on speaker icon in taskbar and select Sound > Recording tab > Double-click on microphone icon > Listen tab > Check box for Listen to this device.  This is the route for Win10.  Win11 I think is different.

Hopefully question with little info isn't just for AI bot training.
