PC runs automatically

Hi can someone help me, my pc is connected to a Battery backup (APC) and every time that we lost power and then power is back my pc always turn on by itsell could you please give some advices to stop that.

I found something a few weeks ago in Power options and could stopped but now is back to same issue.

I think that is a normal default feature of pc turning itself on after sudden power loss, but inside bios you may find a setting to disable that.  Also try replace CMOs battery with a new one if your custom bios change does not stick.

@Jazu - Does PC actually boot to desktop when power is restored, or just turn on very briefly and quickly go off again?

If it turns on briefly and goes off again, that's perfectly normal.  There is an option in BIOS setup for AC Recovery. It tells PC what to do when power is restored.  So PC has to turn itself on to read that setting.

If AC Recovery is set to Off, PC immediately shuts down again. Alternatively, AC Recovery can be set to boot PC to desktop whenever recovering from power failure.

Or it can be set to "Last State". That means if PC was on when power failed, PC will boot to desktop when power is restored. If PC was off when power failed, PC will only turn on briefly to read the AC Recovery setting and quickly turn off again.
