My Computer goes to sleep or hibernation and can't be woken

I have a Inspiron 3030 Desktop that is about a year old.  After some period of sitting idle, the computer sometimes goes into hibernation or sleep (I'm not sure which) and I often cannot get it reawaken.  If it won't wake up, I have to do a hard shutdown of the computer and reboot.  Sometimes I can get it to come awake, but it takes a while.  I have it set to never hibernate and never sleep.   Any ideas on how I can get it not to hibernate / sleep?

Do you have a screensaver set?  Turn that off too.  Turn off monitor > never.

Turn off/disable USB selective suspend.  It's in Power Management > Advanced Settings and a little window opens up.  Google it in case you need more info.  It might not cure it going to sleep, but should wake up when you push sleep button or other buttons on keyboard or mouse.

How a PC can go to hibernate/sleep with both set to never is a bit beyond me.  Is it actively doing anything before it sleeps?
