Leave PC running or shut down
Hello, I use my desktop about every 3 to 4 and was wondering if its best to shut it down when im done or just let it go into sleep mode? Thanks for any help

Always include exact PC model in your posts.
Certainly uses less energy if it's turned off when not in use for several days. That also reduces the risk of suffering from a power surge or outage at your power company.
Lots of discussions around the net on this exact topic, with arguments on both sides. So it's up to you to read and decide.

Just saying, I have the Area-51 R2 and Latitude 5520, I never shut them down. I only restart them after Windows updates are done.
