IP Connection - Chongqing Fugui Electronics Co.,Ltd.
On my Dell laptop, I have an internet connection to "Chongqing Fugui Electronics Co.,Ltd."
Where is this originating from? I have no connections to China IP, MAC or otherwise....

Hi
That company make Wi-Fi type products for large companies like DELL and HP, so it is conceivable you have one of their adapters/chip-sets installed.
There are those who question whether data is slurped and sent back to China.
I suggest you run Anti-Virus, Malwarebytes etc as a precaution, and I would scour the Registry for any entries there-in.
If in doubt please ask.

Thanks for insights. Dell (like this) refer to CHONGQING FUGUI computer. BitDefender (and others) have a NetD reference in the registry related to DHCP assignments. NetD also work in tandem with Bitdefender security monitoring functions. The vendor class is MSFT 5.0 with is in reference to the type of OS (in this case).
If you look up "chongqing.com" in domain tools, most of the websites references are "Redacted for Privacy".
I like your reference "Slurpin".... good laugh. I suppose any "backdoors" can / will be identified but I'm not loosing any sleep over it.
Stay well,
Scott

That company makes wireless chipsets used by Realtek among other big suppliers of wireless network hardware. They build chipsets that go into PCs, notebooks, TVs, routers -- all sorts of wireless hardware.
