Inspiron Zino HD 410

I have a Dell Inspiron Zino HD 410 with a faulty motherboard. When I turn on the unit, I get a solid amber light on the power switch, no error beeps and the unit does not run. According to the user manual, it states that a solid amber light means a fault with the motherboard. The motherboard has a p/n of 15-R82-010092  and is running a AMD chipset. All sites I have found with replacement motherboards and the same p/n are running Intel chipsets. I live in Australia, so does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement motherboard (new or second-hand with the same p/n) running AMD chipset that ships to Australia. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Did you press/hold the power button for ~30 sec with PC unplugged, after removing the old battery, and before installing the fresh one?

Odd..the Zino HD 400 series specs only list AMD CPUs and an RS780G chipset. Boards for the Zino 300 series use Intel Atom CPU and Intel chipsets.

Have you checked eBay in Oz...?

Did you replace the coin cell battery on the 12 yr old model? That's the only repair that you should try. Everything else is not practical. The motherboard is not necessarily the problem.

Yes, I replaced the battery but no change. My question is, after replacing the battery do I need to reset the cmos via the jumper?
