Inspiron 7700 AIO - Adjust Brightness - nothing working!!!

Question

Hello, I've installed windows 11 on the Inspiron 7700 AIO. I see a display brightness slider but it is stuck at zero and sliding it from right to left does nothing. I have tried numerous things: installed the OSD software from Dell, updated the BIOS to the latest version, made sure the BIOS setting has OSD "enabled" (by unchecking "disabled"). I've added and removed the monitor driver. Nothing works -- I still cannot control the brightness. Please advise. Thank you.

Which version of Windows 11 and was it a clean install after wiping 7700 ssd?  Prior to Win 11, was the brightness control working in Windows 10?

clean install of windows 11 with the latest updates.  brightness controls were working prior to the wipe and re-install of windows 11

Is it possible after the latest Win 11 install, display adapter is still the raw Microsoft basic VGA adapter and has not yet auto updated to Intel Iris/Xe graphics for 11th gen cpu?  I had Dell latitude laptop that I knew before display adapter is updated I cannot adjust brightness in Windows.

Did u find the fix having some problem for about 3 months.  I have tried all the above just as you have.  And still no fix .
