Inspiron 5680 PSU upgrade
I'm looking to upgrade my Inspiron 5680 (i7-8700, 8gb ram, GTX 1060-3gb) to an RTX 2070 and I will need to upgrade the PC's 460w PSU. I was looking at this PSU. I have seen similar questions but I am wondering whether that PSU will work. I am also open to suggestions on other PSUs.

Inspiron5680 is a full tower pc. Any ATX psu will fit. You need to consider psu w extra long cables in this full tower case so cables can reach various connector on motherboard and gpu. take a look of this pic that shows good cable management.
Your gpu needs an 8 pin gpu power connector. The link you sent does not lead to a psu.

A while back someone was also asking about psu upgrade to Raidmax.
The answer is not a good idea. This is a known poor quality no name brand psu. You will be taking a big risk to damage your high end components with this psu.
plenty of reviews will tell you not to buy a Raidmax, because they strip out a lot of the protection stuff that makes the PSU turn off when bad things happen. They also tend to use cheap caps, so after a while you'll likely get high ripple and voltage instability, leading to potential crashes and other issues.
I suggest choosing a reputable name brand: Seasonic, Corsair, EVGA, Antec, Rosewill.
RTX 2070 Recommended System Power is 550W. Corsair CX550M or Seasonic SSR-600TLwould be some good candidate.

Thanks for the warning! I have a follow-up question: will any ATX PSU (assuming it fits) work or do I need a specific kind?

I used a Corsair RM850x and I needed to modify the case for the power cord. No biggie. Pleanty
Cut opening on bottom by 1"of power for what I need and quiet. Modular unit so I only hooked up what I needed.

Hi, I just purchased the same Corsair but couldn't find a connector in the bag for the 4 wires (brown and black) top left. How did you connect that? It's a 4 pin connector.

Look for an 8-pin cable with marking CPU. It can be split into x2 of 4-pin, and only one keyed to match with the connector on motherboard.
