Inspiron 5490 AIO, error TPM after BIOS update
Hello, yesterday I updated the bios of my pc. Now when I turn on I get a warning. --->Warning TPM device not detected.

is there any solution?

Access the BIOS (F2 immediately at boot) and make sure that PTT is enabled (you will find that in security settings usually).

@yoelmend - What prior version of BIOS was installed, and what new version did you install?
How did you install the update? Did you let SupportAssist do it, or did you do it manually inside Windows or did you use a USB stick via the F12 boot menu?
And to add to what @JOcean said, make sure Secure Boot is enabled in BIOS setup because PTT may not be a visible option in BIOS setup unless Secure Boot is enabled first.

@yoelmend - BTW: the error message says "TPM", but it's listed in BIOS setup as PTT, so did you just miss seeing the right option?

I got that message when my son's 3891 had a BIOS update a couple of weeks ago. It popped up after a re-boot. But, another re-boot right after that and all was normal again. It's been fine since.
Something got messed up during the update process, but it seemed to fix itself.
