Inspiron 5477 screen issues after returning from sleep
Inspiron 5477
I am experiencing clouding of my screen after returning from sleep mode.
My PC came with Windows 10 but some time ago I updated to Windows 11 ( not connected to problem)
I have tried the suggested Dell resolution tools but they all apply to Windows 10. When I state i am running 11 all i get is that my drivers are all up to date.
I am stuck with a bad screen and no solution . Is there any suggestion?

Inspiron 5477 and Optiplex 7460 All In One may experience Panel Failure symptoms include following symptoms:
This symptom occurs when the Touch Screen function was accidentally disabled by Windows 10 OS (Operating System) when the system is attempting to resume from the Sleep Mode.
The issue can be seen in ePSA , BIOS screen, LCD BIST etc.

if the Win 10 patch does not fix, try turn off touch screen option in bios (if this bios option is offered) or Windows. apparently this is a 5477 specific issue as 5400 AIO touch screen does not have it. the Dell patch involves multiple firmware update for LG screen and scalar IC. unfortunately this is a bug.
if still no fix, either have to use Win 10 for which the fix should work, or wait for Dell Win 11 patch but not sure if Dell would release it.
