Inspiron 5477 AIO - no sound on earphone
Hi, I have this computer and when I try to use my earphone with a jack, there is no sound. I mean, the sound comes from the computer and not via my earphone. It is not good because I sit in an office, and I need to hold online meetings. :( Is there any solution?

Version of Windows?
Is this a new problem or has it always been this way?
Can we assume you're using a headset (microphone and earphones in the same device)? Did you recently get a new headset? Have you tried a different headset?
Do the other online meeting participants hear you correctly on their end?
What app are you using for your online meetings? If it's been recently updated, check to see if its audio settings are correct.
Are all the drivers and BIOS up-to-date?
Is there an IT person in your company who can help?

@RoHe Thanks for your help! Here are my answers: I have Windows10 Home. I am new in this job, in this office so I don't know whether it is an old problem or not. I use my own cheap (Panasonic) earphone (it is not a headset). It works correctly with my phone and with my Dell computer at home, so I suppose it should be good with this DELL AIO, too. I use Teams for online meetings but I tried to use it with YouTube and it didn't work with it, either (with Firefox).
I suppose that all drivers are up-to-date but I'm not sure, how can I check them? And no, there is nobody here to help. :(

The plug on your earphones may not be compatible with the jack on the AIO.
Do your earphones have a TRS plug, but the PC's jack may be TRRS? In that case, you would either have to buy an adapter for the TRS plug to use TRRS on PC, or get a pair of PC headphones or headset (includes microphone) that has TRRS.
Ask in the office if anyone has headphones or headset with TRRS and try that on your PC so you'll know if the jack on PC is actually working or not...
