The SD card reader was optional. If you have one it is behind the door next to the USB 2.0 connectors. The door would be the 3rd down from the top.

buy that used on ebay and put it in, done.
or buy generic USB SD card reader , zillions sold in any PC store or ebay, amazon or yah endless.
the manual on the 531 tells you with # 1 foot note #1 optional.
