It appears that the backplate was help by glue or adhesive. You may use heat gun or hair dryer to soften the glue/adhesive while prying off with a plastic scribe to avoid damage to the PCB.

Ty. appears LGA775 ILM and CPU socket is one integral part, which is different from LGA115#. the Dell backplate is not fastened to the ILM.
on LGA775 board that has no backplate, the back side of mobo is completely plain.
