3910 has Intel 12th gen cpu which has integrated intel graphics

It is already capable of 4k video for non gaming display.

@Tclark828  -You'd have to use the onboard Intel Graphics DP port on the Inspiron 3910, either directly to the DP port on a monitor, or with a DP(PC)>HDMI(monitor) adapter cable to get 4K output.

According to this, the onboard Intel Graphics HDMI port on the Inspiron 3910 has a maximum output resolution of only 1920x1080, the limit of the motherboard's design.

First, you need to tell us which of the 3 power supply options you have, 180W, 240W or 300W, because that limits your choice of video cards, unless you also plan to upgrade the PSU. You may not be able to install an "after-market" (non-Dell) PSU in this system so your upper limit may be the Dell OEM 300W PSU.

Then look for 4K-capable video cards whose recommended PSU size matches what you have, and  that will fit inside the case.

You also have to know if your PSU has a 6- or 8-pin PCI-e power cable for direct connection to a video card, if the card you want requires it.

Search these forums to see if anyone has posted details of a 4K video card that works in this PC model.
