Inspiron 3910 onboard DP and HDMI ports, DP monitor shows as HDMI 1
Hi,
I have enabled extended display and connected two monitors to Inspiron 3910. I have the connected drivers for the same from Dell. Then when I check the OSD menu, my two monitors show as HDMI 1 connected. I am running Windows 11 Pro and there is typically only one driver for the monitor. I checked with the tag numbers to confirm the same. Why DP connection is shown as HDMI 1 in the monitor OSD? I have enabled auto select on OSD on both the monitors. Not only that, when I use windows key +tab to view task view, my two monitors show, along with a new set of 2 monitors, which I do not know where it come from. I checked identify and it shows 1 and 2 monitors correctly.
