Inspiron 3891 RTX 20 series upgrade

So I want to upgrade my desktop with a gpu, but i need a better psu as currently, I have the 260watt psu with no pcie power. Although I need help to figure out if I need to buy an adapter, because I know certain things like the motherboard is proprietary, and I want to remove the cpu vent for a exhaust fan. (NOTE: I also want to know if the power cable for the fan will plug in anywhere on the board.

SPECS: I5-11400 @2.6GHZ, 12 gb ram (1 4gb dimm, 1 8gb dimm @2933), PNY XLR8 GTX 750 TI), 260 watt Dell psu, DVD-ROM optical drive.

If anybody has matter on this then feel free to reply.

Exactly what info do you still need that's not in that other thread?

You don't need a fully modular PSU, as long as it's compatible with this PC model, as mentioned in that other thread, and it has a PCI-e power connector from PSU for the new GPU.

Advantage of a modular PSU is you only plug cables into the PSU that you actually need, and you won't have a bunch of unused cables laying around inside the case that can't be removed from a non-modular PSU. Read this for more about modular vs non-modular PSUs.

The most important thing to consider is PSU compatibility with your specific PC model. Not every PSU will be compatible either because of its physical size, voltages it supplies to each of its connectors, etc.

also, I might add, DON'T add gpus like the 750 ti, because it will bottleneck the performerce because its not being fed wattage.
