Inspiron 3880 BIOS Question
Inspiron 3880
Question 1.
Will there be a BIOS update in the future to have REBAR enabled for this lineup? After looking in the BIOS, I can't find 4G Decode or REBAR at all.
Question 2.
I also noticed that there's Nvidia driver patches that come through, but none for Intel's ARC series. Will there be ARC drivers specifically made for Inspiron 3880 in the future? Because I'm getting my ARC drivers from Intel themselves, but Intel says there's OEM(Dell) drivers for the card, but I can't find them.
PC Specs.
Windows 10 (22H2)
Intel Core I7-10700
Intel ARC A380
64GB RAM
200W Bronze Power Supply

In this user to user volunteer forum, we don't have access to notifications regarding future BIOS updates. You might try contacting Dell directly with the "Get help now" chat button on the lower right or a Dell sales person.

Am a community member and volunteer contributor. I'll try to answer your questions with my knowledge.
1. No, Dell will not provide BIOS update for Resizable BAR support to the Inspiron 3880. This system was validated to support discrete graphics of GeForce GT 730 or GeForce GT 1030, which doesn't support ReBAR.
2. Since Intel ARC graphics series were not offered as purchase options with the Inspiron 3880, Dell did not offered ARC drivers and will not be in the future as those are not supported products for this system.
Fortunately, Windows 10/11 is capable of device detection and install working driver for your third party components.
