Inspiron 3668 CPU upgrade?

I have my 3668 running just how I want it.  But I want to upgrade the CPU to accept Windows 11.  CAN I DO IT?  Is it a simple process?  Do I need any special tools, etc. etc.  While I'm at it, I may as well add some RAM; currently only 8GB.

Thanks for the advice.  I've contacted Dell phone support over the last year and have gotten mixed answers.

There is no CPU that system will take which supports Windows 11.  You'd need to replace the mainboard, and likely all the memory - by which time you'd be better off buying a new system with Windows 11 pre-installed, or if that's out of the budget, look for a good used system with a minimum of an 11th generation Intel (or equivalent AMD Ryzen) CPU.
