motherboard bios for Intel 14,13,12th gen cpu respectively but it is actually just a stepwise bios upgrade on essentially same motherboard, which is usually Dell “new” model scheme “update bios, name it a new model.”
Can you put a 14th generation intel processor in a Dell Inspiron 3910 if you update the bios to the latest 1.9.0 version? Alternatively, is it possible to update the Inspiron 3910 bios using Inspiron 3030 bios 1.30 version to allow usage of 14th generation intel processor?

Dell also sells 3030 small desktop (like they used to sell 620S), 3020 small desktop. These are slim cases.
There is only one 3910, tower only.

Dell has not done it afaik. Dell would rather sell all the 3030/3020 first.

3030 has DDR5
3020 has DDR4. that is a major difference
