Inspiron 3030 and using Inspiron 5490 AIO as second monitor - limited resolution

Hi,

I have a new Inspiron 3030 that I have connected to my Inspiron 5490 AIO. I am using the 5490 as a second monitor.  But the second monitor has a limited resolution of 1360x768 (noted as Recommended). I have tried multiple ultra high-speed hdmi cables and each one shows this limited resolution. Any suggestions for how to get the 5940 to have a better (1920x1080) resolution?
