Inspiron 3020S, adding a HHD/SSD
I bought a new Inspiron 3020S (with 512G M2 SSD) just now and would like to add a HDD or SSD.
Not sure if I can have an internal 4T SATA HHD/SSD, as I find in the manual only a max 2T HDD (3.5") or 1T (2.5") can be installed.

Dell only lists as compatible those drives it has tested with the system. But larger drives are compatible as this page at Crucial is an example.

@JOcean Can a samsung ssd 980 NVMe M.2SSD 1TB be added to the Inspiron 3020S, I have only added HHD before to an older computer and was shocked by the small size of the drive when it arrived.

@hamster67 You can and the Dell support page for that system can be found here. And as an example Crucial lists various compatible NVMe SSD drivers here. But any quality M.2 SSD would also be compatible.
