Inspiron 3020 Desktop Memory Upgrade
I just attempted to install Crucial 2x32GB 3200mt/s UDIMMs into my Dell Inspiron 3020 Desktop but it just hung and wouldn't boot. However, when I removed one of the memory banks, it did boot and recognized 32GB. Is this the wrong memory for this particular computer and will this computer support 64GB? I am reading mixed results to the answer of that last question and would appreciate input from this forum. Thank you for your assistance.

Crucial offers 100% compatibility and guaranty their memory to work. See the link below to confirm that 64GB is maximum memory configurations and check the 64GB kit against yours (part number). Besides swapping slot to test functioning module and slot, Look for a blue jumper on system board and attempt with clearing CMOS.
