Inspiron 3020, add Crucial 32GB memory not working?

Inspiron 3020 Desktop

I have a new Dell Inspiron 3020 and I wanted more Memory. I bought Crucial RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL22 (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) Desktop Memory CT2K16G4DFRA32A and it doesn't work for some reason? I've updated BIOS to most recent update and still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dell cannot speak to non-OEM memory. The single 16GB validated OEM memory stick =

DK8NX = 3200MHz, 1RX8, 2Gx64, Unbuffered, DDR4, 288 pin, Single Rank, 1.2V, Non-Error Correction Code, Non-Encrypted

If you get a blink code on the PC's power button, note the color(s) and count the blinks.

Sure the new RAM is installed correctly and the clips locked?

Have you tried each of them one at a time in the first slot from the CPU?

Did you try clearing BIOS, with new RAM installed?

  1. Power off, unplug power cord from rear of PC
  2. Press/hold power button for ~15 sec
  3. Open case and remove motherboard battery (check Service Manual for details)
  4. Press/hold power button for ~30 sec
  5. Reinstall battery
  6. Close up and connect mouse, monitor and keyboard
  7. Reboot
