Inspiron 20 3043, Stylus/Pen Suggestion Needed
Inspiron 3043
I have an older Dell Inspiron 20 3043 with writable touchscreen. I am looking for a current Dell stylus/pen that will work with this screen. Thank you in advance.

Any generic notebook/tablet capacitive pen should work -- these are a few dollars and available in thousands of models (try Amazon).
If you're looking for the precision writing of an active pen (Dell, Wacom, etc.) - no, this system won't support that.

Well, after ordering a generic capacitive notebook/tablet pen as you suggested, from a Temu vendor in China, which took nearly three weeks to get here; I discovered that...it doesn't work. I actually DO need an active pen (Dell, Wacom type).

I'm not sure where you determined that an active pen is supported -- no Dell all in one I've ever seen supports one, and the likelihood of a decade-plus old system supporting one is just about zero.

Ok, I discovered some information I wasn't aware of before...the capabilities of a capacitive screen vs. a digitizer screen. I was hoping to be able to actually write or draw on my Inspiron 20 3043; but that is not capable with a capacitive screen, only a digitizer screen along with an active pen. I am limited by this device. Thanks again for yor reply.
