Graphic adapter for old Inspiron desktop

I'm having a problem with my old Dell Inspiron 620 desktop on-board Intell graphic adapter.  I'd like to install a third party device.  I don't need anything high end - a general "basic" card would be fine.  What should I be looking for?

620 has Intel 2nd gen cpu about same era as Dell Optiplex 790 end of life.

Dell offered 1GB AMD RADEON HD 6450;   512MB AMD RADEON HD 6350 in Optiplex 790.  these are quite old and basic video cards although they are better than the integrated Intel graphics of 2nd gen cpu.  they should cost <= 10 USD in value.
