Frequent WiFi Dropouts

My Inspiron 3020 desktop WiFi frequently drops out. The computer has a RTL8852BE WiFi card. The router is a Century Link C4000XG with fiber. Hardware test passes and drivers are up to date. Signal strength is strong. Other computers using the router have no problems.  I have disabled power management as Dell advises in link below. Problem started after a windows update a few months back. To get WiFi back I have to uninstall and then reinstall the WiFi card driver while rebooting.

Hi

No real ideas, but a coupla daft things I might check....

The "lease time" allocated to the device, and then subsequently fixing the IP address (make it static) so there can be no conflict.

An IT person at work told me to try a "network reset".

Hi

A good idea, did they mention from what to what?

Because uninstalling and re-installing is effectively doing that.

If you check the attached 0toF.txt and rename it 0toF.bat and run it (as admin if you wish) and try number 8, post the output if you can (as a screenshot or snapshot).

A, B and C may very well do the reset that the IT individual mentioned.

Work your way thru the numbers as you feel relevant.

If in doubt please ask.
