Failed graphics card
Hello,
I have a Dell desktop with Windows XP that I've had for many years. I installed a GEForce graphics card many years ago
However I believe the graphics card has failed and is displaying a scrambled screen. Also the mouse locks up soon after bootup and sometimes the PC shuts down.
I would like to switch back to the integrated graphics card. What are the steps to do this ?
Do I need to physically remove the GEForce graphics card and connect the monitor to the default display port ?
Do I need to deinstall the GEForce drivers (or is that optional) ?
thanks

The integrated graphics would likely to work when discrete graphics card is removed.
A proper driver will help the graphics card to display all capable resolutions at specified refresh rates.
