DS 07/20: I'd like to know why my Inspiron 3891 overheats when I use it to play games.
I'd like to know why my Inspiron 3891 overheats when I use it to play games. I only play games for a short period of time, but it still becomes very hot. Running Windows 10 Home.

3891 uses a very basic cpu cooler Dell pancake style. It cannot handle any load on cpu. Stock cooler is reminiscent of old Dell dimension pc where an elbow air duct is used to blow hot air out of case. Where does cool air come inside case? No in the fan. Not good cool air in flow.
use it for email and internet. For gaming need to upgrade cooler and mod for better air flow.
