Dell Peripheral Manager - on/off camera and mic actions, assignable to key
I have a KB500 keyboard, would it be possible to add to Dell Peripheral Manager a two new actions - on/off microphone and on/off camera (Windows), which could be assigned to a programmable (functions) keys? That it could work with any video communication software, like MS Teams, Skype.

Watch this Dell vid...
The support page for KB500 has a link to Dell Peripheral Manager which means it should work with that keyboard.
The keyboard has programmable "F" keys. You'll have to run the Peripheral Manager to see if the functions you want can be assigned to any of those keys.
There's also a link on the KB500 support page for an update to the firmware inside the keyboard's dongle that plugs into the PC. Run that updater, if you haven't already installed this update.

Hello.
The solution you proposed requires that you have a Dell Premier Collaboration keyboard, and I have a KB500. And I am looking for a solution to configure, under one keyboard button, the system microphone mute.

The KB500 page indicates that it's compatible with Dell Peripheral Manager. Don't know if you can assign any of KB500's programmable keys to mute the mic.
Should be easy to test...
