this power connector is different from the 5 pin power switch used in Optiplex 790 or 7010/9020

this is the Optiplex power button cable connector. also5 wires, but its key is mirror image of Inspiron pwr sw connector.

Dell 500GM has same pin key as the Optiplex power button

Again the key of pin is different from the white connector for 3668/3650. Dell designed a different color connector as a dummy reminder that it is a different design, even though both have 5 wires that contain pwr sw, pwr led wires
