Dell G5 upgrading

Hi all, I bought a dell G5 5000, and it came with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 super, and was wondering if I can upgrade the graphics card, and which one would be the best to upgrade it with. Would I also need to upgrade the power supply? Thanks for the info, I'm a noob when it comes to customizing a pc.

What's the intended use for the upgraded GPU, gaming, streaming videos...?

Which PSU do you have, 360W or 500W?  PSU size could limit your choices.

You can see what others have installed in the G5 5000 at userbenchmark.com along with some performance comparisons. Note: they don't mention PSU size in any of those PCs. So just because somebody is using a specific GPU doesn't mean it will work with whichever PSU you currently have.

Once you narrow down your choices, check the specs for the exact card you might want to see its "recommended" PSU size, what type PCI-e power connector it needs (eg, 6- or 8-pin) vs the PSU's connector (you might need an adapter cable), and if the card has the types and numbers of ports for your monitor(s) at their "recommended" resolution.
