DCF procedure
I am newly returned to this DCF forum after a long absence.
I submitted a query; and I got a message rejecting it. I was told to correct "the indicated errors" (or something like that) but I could find no such "indicated errors." Can someone suggest what I might try? Thanks. wdc

This is a user to user public help forum for Dell desktops. No personal info allowed. Just include your model computer and operating system when asking for help here.

MaryG: Thanks for your response. Are you saying my post was rejected because it contained "personal" info? I see nothing "personal" in it. Or was it rejected for another reason -- like failure to provide a model number or my tag? I would appreciate a clarification. ...wdc

@wdcwdc - Welcome back...
Do not post Service Tags here. Your model number is needed to get you the right help, but not including the model shouldn't prevent you from posting.
No offense, but did you use an "objectionable" word, an abbreviation for such a word, or insert a symbol(s) to replace a letter(s) in what would be an objectionable word?
They recently tightened the rules here which caused problems for some of us to trying to post proper/allowed content in last few days. So it's possible, something you wrote accidentally got blocked by one of these new rules...
What browser are you using? Log out of the forum and clear the browser's cache, cookies, history. Then reboot PC. Log back in and see if you can post that exact same text this time. If still not allowed, copy/paste the text into Notepad and save the file. Log in with a different browser and copy/paste the text from Notepad into a new post in that other browser.
If your post is still not accepted, try to send that exact text from your Notepad file via PM to me and I can ask the moderators to have a look and decide if they need to adjust their new rules, again. Click my user name in this post and when that page opens look for the link to "Send this user a private message" over on the right side of the screen. Just copy/paste the entire text into the PM with nothing added above/below.
