CPU Fan very noisy
The CPU fan on my 12 month old desktop is making a noise, as if it's running very fast. Only happened after a software update last night. Just looked inside, and seems to be turning freely, plenty of ventilation, no dust. Any ideas?

Remove the update - does that restore normal operation?

@ejn63 I removed the pesky update, all is now quiet again. Thank you for the advice
