connection

can I connect my Inspiron 3030 to my s2722dc monitor via usb-c cable ? If I use HDMI I will not get my full resolution th monitor offers. 2560x400 USB-C    1920x1200 HDMI

I do not think that USB C carries video signal or DP.  there are only two video ports offered on 3030

Intel UHD Graphics 770
  • One DisplayPort 1.4 port
    NOTE:The maximum resolution supported by DisplayPort 1.4 port is 4096 x 2034 @ 60 Hz.
  • One HDMI 1.4b port
    NOTE:The maximum resolution supported by the HDMI 1.4b port is 1920 x 1200.

try to find a DP to USBC cable to connect PC DP to monitor USB C
