If your issue was not resolved by now, you can force power off the system and HOPE for a system self recovery from a failed firmware update.  Otherwise, the machine is bricked and will required to perform a system BIOS recovery.

Dell systems built from 2015 and later have the options to recover BIOS firmware must they failed to boot.

Always include exact PC model and version of Windows in your posts.

How did you run the BIOS update, using SupportAssist/Dell Update, manually inside Windows, via Windows Update, or using the F12 menu Flash Update option?

@Veve Ad  - You have to provide more details:

  1. Exact PC model
  2. Version of Windows
  3. Exactly what does "frozen" mean?
  4. Does PC power on and is power button steady or blinking, and what color?
  5. Do you see any error message(s)
  6. Etc
